Step 1. Get your code
After your purchase, you'll receive a code in the Gift Market bot.
If your order contains multiple codes, redeem each one — once all codes have been redeemed, the full amount will be credited to your account balance.

Step 2. Redeem your code
Choose the method that's most convenient for you.

On your Xbox console

1. Open Microsoft Store.
2. Go to Redeem.
3. Enter your code.
4. Confirm the redemption.

On the Microsoft website

1. Go to redeem.microsoft.com.
2. Sign in to your Microsoft account.
3. Enter your code and confirm the redemption.

Step 3. Check your balance
Once the code has been redeemed successfully, the funds will appear in your Microsoft account balance.

• The region of the gift card must match your Microsoft account region.
• A gift card can only be redeemed once.
• If you received multiple codes, redeem each one — only then will the full top-up amount be credited to your account.

3. Check your account country/region.

If you already have an Xbox account, you generally cannot change its region to use a gift card from another region. Changing your console or device region will not help either — the gift card must match your account region.

If you want to use a gift card from a different region, you can try creating a new Xbox account and selecting the desired region during registration.

⚠️ Please note: in some cases, Microsoft may verify whether your location matches the selected region, so this method may not always work. Purchases, subscriptions, and account balance will remain tied to the new account and cannot be transferred to your main account.

A gift card can only be redeemed on an account from the region it was issued for.
For example, a US gift card cannot be redeemed on a Turkey account, and a Turkey gift card cannot be redeemed on a UK account.

• the gift card region matches your Microsoft account region;
• the code was entered correctly;
• the code hasn't already been redeemed.
